Callarion at Night update

I'm about two hours away from heading to a New Year's Eve party, so I'll make this quick as it's kind of important.

I am pleased to announce that the first (very rough) draft of CALLARION AT NIGHT is ...

Drumroll please.

DONE at 63,329 words, 231 pages, and 23 chapters!!!!

There's at least four chapters of material I have to add and some scenes I have to fix/expand/add, but the core of the story is down after 8 months of false starts, hiatuses, and outlines that didn't exactly get followed. However, I'm still quite excited, and am willing to pass it along to anyone who wants to read the rough copy. The pointing out of logic holes is much appreciated!

Congrats! You can send it my way, too, or if you want to wait until you've added scenes/chapters, that's groovy, too.

Congrats! What a perfect ending for 2009! I came via Stephanie Thornton's blog, by the way. :)

Congratulations! Eight months is pretty good (Air Pirates took me 1.5 years).

I'm happy to read CaN at whatever stage you'd like input. My personal recommendation would be to fix whatever problems you, the author, are aware of before getting input from others. But that's my process, not necessarily yours :-)
